Police are investigating a burglary and assault at a motel on East 9th Street. Hopkinsville Police report the burglary occurred between 8:00 and 8:30 Thursday night at the Travel Inn located at 1209 East 9th Street.
Police say unknown suspects entered the female victim's room by damaging a wall and door frame. Once inside, the female victim was allegedly assaulted by one of the suspects.
No other details were released.
