1 Shooting Victim Discharged, 3 Upgraded At Vanderbilt

One student has been discharged and the condition of three other students have been upgraded, according to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Spokewoman Kristin Smart says the female victim who came to the Vanderbilt's Children Hospital Tuesday night has been discharged.

In addition, Smart says three of the four male victims have been upgraded to stable condition at the adult hospital. She adds the fourth male victim is still listed in critical but stable condition.

The five students were among the 18 injured in a deadly shooting at Marshall County High School that claimed the lives of two 15-year olds, Bailey Holt and Preston Cope.

During a news conference Wednesday afternoon, the Assistant County Attorney announced the 15-year old student arrested in connection to the shooting will be charged with two counts of murder and 12 counts of first degree assault. He also stated the jjuvenile will be charged as an adult. The juvenile's case will go before the grand jury next month.
