The State will be asking that the 15-year old arrested in Marshall County Tuesday be charged as an adult. Assistant County Attorney, Jason Darnall says they have scheduled a probable cause hearing.
He adds they will be asking the court to try the boy as an adult.
The County Attorneys Office is charging the juvenile with two counts of murder and 12 counts of 1st Degree Assault.
School Superintendent, Trent Lovett says their hearts are with the families and the staff affected Tuesday.
He adds they have considered the options and weighed the advice regarding returning to school.
He does not know when the high school will return to session. At this point, State Police are still blocking entrances onto the property as they continue their investigation.
