Kentucky State Police have identified the two teenagers fatally shot in Marshall County Tuesday. KSP Commissioner Richard Sanders says 15-year old Bailey Nicole Holt died at the scene and 15-year old Preston Ryan Cope succumbed to his injuries at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He notes there were a total of 20 injured: 16 of them were shot, and of those two were fatalities, and four others suffered injuries trying to flee the shooting scene.
Sanders says they will have two centers set up that will be open to students and family members in the coming days.
The Counseling Center will be open from 9am to 3pm Wednesday.
The State Police Critical Incident Response Team will continue to investigate the scene at Marshall County High School for several days.
Sanders would not comment on the shooter or the motives behind the shooting. He did confirm only one gun was used and no other weapons were found by ATF dogs brought to the school Tuesday.
