Man Arrested For Shooting Street Lights

An Elkton man is facing charges after he was arrested Monday night for attempting to shoot out street lights. According to Elkton Police, 55 year-old Frederick Thomas was arrested around 11:30 and charged with three counts of first degree Wanton Endangerment.

When officers arrived on the scene witnesses told them Thomas was intoxicated and had fired multiple shots into the air to attempt to shoot out street lights surrounding Harvest Moon Apartments.

Thomas was located inside his home and arrested. After obtaining a search warrant, police found various weapons inside his home. Thomas was lodged in the Todd County Detention Center.
