Community College Building Project Update

Hopkinsville Community College Emerging Technologies Building could host classes in the Fall of 2019. Construction began on the first of October and a pad is already completed. College President, Dr. Alissa Young says snow this week did halt progress.

However, a good deal of work of site prep work has been completed.

If the building stays on schedule the college will be able to move in in about 15 months.

The Emerging Technologies Building will help the college meet the growing needs of the surrounding communities.

Young says one program which will occupy the building was implemented this year and they hope to start two more next year. The construction of the building can be viewed via a webcam at Hopkinsville.kctcs.edu.
