Deputies Investigating Burglary At Crofton Pole Barn

The sheriff's office is investigating a burglary in which $2,100 worth of tools and other equipment were stolen from a hunting pole barn. Benjamin Heisler reported to the Christian County Sheriff's Office Saturday that his father was at the residence located on Grapevine Road in Crofton between January 4 and January 6 and everything was secure. Heisler said he returned on Saturday and found the rear door had been kicked in and several items missing, including an air compressor, two socket sets, and assorted hand tools. He then told deputies he reviewed surveillance video, but the video had already taped over the time the burglary took place.
