Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Monday

The National Weather Service has placed our area under a Winter Weather Advisory until Midnight Monday night. Weather Edge Forecaster David Powell says snow is on the way again.

Powell says roads will become slick, but should not present a big problem.

Powell offers some helpful tips when driving on the slick roads.

Very cold temperatures will follow the snow that comes through today and tonight with the low predicted for Tuesday night at around 4 degrees with wind chill values as low as 6 below zero. There is a warming trend coming this weekend when we will see highs near 50. Powell says there is another winter storm that could make it's way to the area by the end of the month.

Powell and the Weather Edge team will continue to track the approaching storm system and keep you up to date on the latest developments.
