Clarksville Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Sunday evening. Police spokesman Jim Knoll says officers responded to a shots fired call Sunday afternoon just after 6:00 at 3193 Fort Campbell Blvd.
Police say they found a man outside on the ground who had sustained a gunshot wound. The man died at the scene. Police are processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses.
Knoll says based on the initial investigation, the public in general, is not in danger.
No additional information has been released by police.
