One of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers fugitives featured this week is in police custody after they received an anonymous tip. 23-year old Jayontez Poindexter was taken into custody by Hopkinsville Police shortly before 2:45 Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 400 block of Bryan Street. He was arrested for probation violation with underlying felony charges of third degree burglary, receiving stolen property, and second degree unlawful transaction with minor. Poindexter was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
Police say the anonymous tipster will receive a cash reward from Crime Stoppers.
