The longtime Christian County Circuit Clerk will not be seeking re-election. Gary Haddock announced Thursday afternoon that he is withdrawing his bid for another term in office. Haddock says it has been an honor and privilege to serve for 24 years, but due to health issues over the last several years, he says it is time to allow someone else the opportunity to serve. He adds he is committed to completing his service as Circuit Clerk through the end of the year.
Paige Parker has filed to run as a Democrat for the position.
