Men Arrested In Todd For Possessing Controlled Substances

Two men were arrested for possessing controlled substances in separate traffic stops in Todd County. Sheriff Tracy White says a deputy stopped a vehicle on Elk Street in Elkton Monday for an equipment violation. Upon contact with the driver, 32-year old Robert Decker, of Dunkirk, Indiana, the deputy reportedly observed small baggies and syringes in the vehicle in plain view. Decker was taken into custody and charged with 1st Degree Trafficking a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth, No Insurance and the Equipment Violation.



The other arrest was Sunday when Sheriff White says 29-year old Nathan Fatchett, of Elkton, was pulled over for speeding on U.S. 68-80. He says Fatchett admitted to possessing and being under the influence of Hydrocodone. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI, Speeding, 2nd Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, and No Insurance.



Both men were lodged in the Todd County Detention Center.
