Police are investigating the theft of a service weapon from the vehicle of the Cadiz Police chief. According to Hopkinsville Police, Cadiz Police Chief Chad Grace reported around 10:00 Saturday night that sometime between 7:00 Friday night and 7:00 Saturday morning unknown suspects entered his vehicle on Sanderson Drive, and unlawfully took a black 9mm Glock semiautomatic pistol with an estimated value of $600.
No other details were released.
